Cambridge Neighbors will host this walk to six or more delightful and varied pocket parks in East Cambridge. A pocket park is a small public green space with at least one or two places to sit, some plantings, and some trees. It is a miniature natural space intended for rest, not recreation. The walk will be about two miles, starting in the Bulfinch Square Complex, a short walk from the Green Line Lechmere T where our group will meet, and ending in Kendall Square near the Red Line T. Lunch is optional, details included when you register along with complete meet-up details.
Guests are welcome. Registration is very highly recommended for BV members, and guests, in order that your name is on the notification list in case of a weather cancellation. BV members can register their guest themselves or contact the BV Office to register their guest, guests must be registered in association with a BV member. You will receive the complete meet-up details when you register.
